How do you shop smart at the dollar stores?

This store reminds me of one of the dollar stores in New York. I've been shopping at this store for over 2 years now. They have a little bit of everything. I buy a lot of scented oils from here. They have a great selection of small electronics and household items. If you like to save money, this is a good place to know. There are plenty of places with great customer service you can go to. What's not to like about a store where everything costs just about one buck? You can get all kinds of goodies for just one buckeroo: My personal favorites to purchase whenever I come here are canned goods especially veggies and the produce items which are of great quality for the price being asked. If you do stop by, you will find it extremely difficult to leave the store without purchasing anything; the available selection is that good.

I wasn't overly impressed with this specific location. I usually shop for odds and end at the Craig and MLK and am always happy with there selection. I decided to try out this one to see if they had any good Christmas finds since they had been advertising on the radio. I took a look at their holiday aisle and there really wasnt anything in there. I was extremely disappointed.

I wondered around the store and really didn't see anything worth wild to pick up. The grocery section wasn't even that great. The fruits and veggies looked pretty bad.

I will not be going back to this location again since I felt like I wasted my time walking around the store. This is the thing with thee worst customer service skills ever y'all choose to be head of y'all store? He has 0 customer service skills and argues with customers attempting to make an exchange with a receipt!

Telling me stuff I didn't ask him and basically because I didn't shut up and say ok to what he was saying he didn't want to take my return? Lmbo he was clearly on his period today! Lmbo he took my return tho!

For the future tho people like him shouldn't be over anybody! He's the reason the store has such bad reviews It's a busy store, but they had the items I was looking for and for a buck I can't complain.

I came here looking for trail mix, walnuts, and other snacks to help me during work and I was surprised at their selection. I normally go to the Craig Road location, however, I did not want to drive that far. Okay, the shopping center may not be high end, but it's part of my community too.

This store on Rancho at Cheyenne reminds me of our neighborhood grocery store growing up. I bought a trunkful of goodies and I had my Dad with a walker. Suddenly, AJ Appears and asks "You need help ma'am?

I was more than willing to offer a generous tip. Yes, i am satisfied with their store and service. The name "99 cents only" indicates that this dollar store, unlike other dollar stores, has ONLY items that costs the dollar. I bought an iPhone cable here too and it did not work. If they are not licensed or licensed for only a week or so, the cable will not work. Having said that - if you can live with their dishonesty, you may still be able to find some deals here.

The organic products are everywhere. Thank You very much. Staff are kind and are very attentive Less wait at the register but the cashier at 2 seems to have difficulty with Asian looking customer, lol! This lady can't even look at me and tried to ring my items twice more than it should be.

I caught her towards the end and she didn't even apologize. I suggest for customer to keep an eye on the cashiers as they ring your item 3x refund you once and thought it's all set, lol! I figured I would give my one dollar worth on this review. It is a nice store, and you will find a few things going for it, as they do have some good things that you can purchase for a dollar.

If you are looking for holiday items, that you can give away or have the kids give away for other in class it is a great way to keep the cost down and find some very unique items. If you are looking for some household items and you are low on cash, you are able to find some low cost items, including some name brands just in small quantities.

Overall this is a good store but nothing special, they generally only have one cashier, and sometime the store is a mess, since customer do not know how to control themselves from picking something up and just dropping on the floor, otherwise the people working here are friendly and some have been here for sometime. It is a good store, but what would make it great, if they sold gas for a dollar a gallon too, lol. Have a good shopping time here.

I always score some pretty good finds at this store. The produce is always fresh, from what I have seen. I've never had an issue with checking it in a timely manner. This is one of the better 99 cent store's here in the valley. The items were mostly 99cents which is great. If it wasn't for the location I would have given this place a 5 star but this is the worst location ever!

My husband and 17 month went shopping here and was asked for change from a homeless guy IN the store. I do have to mention that it was in front of the register and the employee at the check out stand did not say anything. There is also security guards at the door who weren't doing their jobs because if they were doing their jobs, the homeless guy wouldn't have been bugging us. The other customers there were rude also. When we checked out , the registers cash register wouldn't open to give us change.

So we had to wait 10 mins for management to come and open it. When we were walking to out car the same guy who asked us for money ask us again.

And when we were putting my son in the car and groceries in the back, the homeless did a loop around our car and asked us again and started trying to help us put the bags in the car. Location means a lot.

And this is the worst location ever. This was my first n last time coming here. I'd rather drive further to another store then come here. Such a horrible experience for me my husband and especially my son. Claim this business to view business statistics, receive messages from prospective customers, and respond to reviews.
